How to read every protocol on this site

  1. 1. Reconstitute

    The water volume is chosen so per-injection draws land comfortably above 10 units, where insulin syringes are most accurate.

  2. 2. Read the concentration

    Vial strength divided by water volume gives mg/mL. Everything else follows from that single number.

  3. 3. Convert to units

    On a U-100 syringe, 1 unit is 0.01 mL. Draw volume × 100 gives the units to pull.

  4. 4. Follow the schedule

    Most protocols titrate upward over weeks so tolerance and response can be assessed at each step.
